Review: Hot Wife Spurned by Reed James

I was looking for a quick and fun read this week and one of my go-to authors for quick reads is Reed James, this time I read his Hot Wife Spurned (Futa Divorce Lawyer 1).

Priscilla is a futa lawyer who has recently started her own practice but is struggling mightily and has yet to have her first client. She does, however, have a hot married paralegal whom she is happily able to use to relieve her stress. On the day we meet Priscilla she happens to be using her paralegal for just such stress relief when her first client walks through the door. Phoebe wants more than just a divorce, she wants to humiliate her husband and Priscilla  is more than willing to help her with that.

This is a very short story that is the first in a series, it is also very well written, sexy, and fun to read. Don't be expecting in depth character development or plotting, but you can expect an easy read that is enjoyable and titillating.

I'm giving Hot Wife Spurned five out of five paddles somewhat conditionally. If you are a Kindle Unlimited customer you can read this story for free, otherwise it carries a $2.99 price tag, and again it's a very quick read, I was through it in about fifteen minutes so take that into consideration.

Audiobook review: Memoirs of a Sex Slave by Billierosie

Some authors have a gift of delivering raw eroticism through their stories, this week I'll be reviewing a story by just such an author: Memoirs of a Sex Slave by Billierosie.

I listened to the audio edition of this story which was narrated by SweetlySensual_Sara. The narration was fine, but definitely not outstanding, Sweetly Sensual could possibly be replaced with Slightly Sleepy, I just thought that Sara was not that into it.

The story itself was terrific,. We hear the reminiscences of Elektra who is at a later stage of her life and living in a retirement home; we are given some glimpses into the life she has lead as a submissive woman serving her beloved Master. Billierosie has a wonderful voice and the story flows fluidly, hotly, erotically as Elektra revisits her experiences of love, pain, and degradation; sometimes crossing the border into the taboo.

I highly recommend this story to any BDSM erotica fans who don't mind (or perhaps even desire) a bit of the taboo. I'm giving Memoirs of a Sex Slave five out of five paddles.

Review: Chemical [se]X 2: just one more by various authors

One of the great things about reading an anthology is getting to sample the work of authors you may not be familiar with; and perhaps discovering new authors whose work you enjoy. This week I will be reviewing an anthology containing works by thirteen different authors.: Chemical [se]X 2 by Oleander Plume – Angora Shade – Jayne Renault – Dr. J. – Sally Bend – F. Leonora Solomon – Ria Restrepo – Mischa Eliot – Kristi Hancock – Wednesday Noir – Rachel Woe – Delilah Night – M.J. Spencer.

The common theme of all the stories in this anthology are chocolates that have an aphrodisiac effect, beyond that the stories vary widely: you will find M/M, lesbian, straight, and more in settings from contemporary to fantasy, to mythical. There is something for everyone in these stories. All the stories are well written, they flow nicely, and they are all sultry; this book is a pleasure to read.

I highly recommend Chemical [se]X 2, its a great way to acquaint oneself with thirteen different authors by the purchase of just one book. I'm giving this anthology four out of five paddles. 

Review: I'm The One You Need by Rob Matthews

As I've mentioned previously, and as has been self evident to followers of this blog, I haven't been posting much here recently; but a new release by one of my favorite authors has brought me back this week. I was fortunate enough to receive an advance copy of I'm The One You Need: book four of The Cuckold Odyssey series by Rob Matthews.

Rob and Tina's story is continued in this book as they pick up the pieces from their last adventure (or misadventure) and move on into the future. I'm glad to report that Charlotte is still in the mix, and still as intriguing as ever. 

After being rescued by Rob and Charlotte from a rather degrading situation, Tina takes little time to recover and regroup before launching herself and Rob into another situation that is going to test their relationship to, or perhaps beyond, the breaking point. Meanwhile Charlotte shows the reader that she is quite capable of making poor decisions in the name of lust as well.

Once again Mr Matthews combines interesting characters, well developed scenes, some steamy eroticism, and an intriguing story all of which makes for a very enjoyable reading experience.  

I can't help but feel a bit sorry for Rob, and a bit peeved at Tina, as things unfold in this story but that is part of the greater narrative; Tina always knows that Rob will be there for her, but maybe he does have a breaking point? Maybe Tina can push too far? 

To me this book did not have quite the same emotional depth as the other books in the series, perhaps because Tina keeps making decisions that push the boundaries of their relationship so far to the extreme,but I still found it to be a very good read.

I highly recommend I'm The One You Need, especially to fans of cuckolding erotica, and I'm giving it four and one half out of five paddles. I'm The One You Need will be released by Fanny Press on January 22nd, 2019

Audiobook review: Spanked by His Mistress by R. Grecco

This is going to be a short review, which I think is appropriate for a book of short stories, here are my thoughts on Spanked by His Mistress: A Femdom Anthology by R. Grecco.

Spanked by His Mistress is made up of eleven short stories all of which are very well written and make for quite an enjoyable listen as they are brought to life by the narration of Maxx Power. As usual, R. Grecco delivers fun and tittilating, well written stories that flow nicely.

I'm giving Spanked by His Mistress five out of five paddles, if you're a fan of femdom erotica I'm sure you'll enjoy this audiobook.

Review: Learning to Obey by Jocelyn Gray

I'm back and this week I'll be sharing my thoughts on Learning to Obey by Jocelyn Gray.

This book is divided, more or less, in half by two stories.  Both stories are gender swap tales.

The first story is Better This Way. Grant is an overbearing ass of a husband to his sweet wife Darcy. Darcy is getting tired of Grant's domineering ways and a friend of hers provides a solution; magic that will switch Darcy and Grant between their bodies.  

I liked the premise of this story and felt like it had a lot of potential, the problem was the editing is just atrocious. There were so many missteps in the writing and editing that I could never get into the story, I just kept stumbling over mistakes that were grievous enough to pull me out of any chance of involvement with the plot. I really hope the author will come back to this book and edit more carefully.

The editing in the first story was so bad that I almost put the book down, however I decided to push through and I'm very glad I did because the second story, Fair Trade, is a gem.

The protagonist in Fair Trade is a scientist who has invented a machine and process to rewrite human DNA. On the verge of beginning human testing he is in need of more funding; he finds a donor but the donor has a condition that is less than ethical, the donor wants Natalie, the scientist's beautiful and haughty assistant, to be transformed into a sex slave. When the scientist attempts to transform Natalie she turns the tables on him.

Fair Trade was a very good story; it was fun, entertaining, and sexy. The editing was much better in this story, while there were a few mistakes it was quite readable.

I am giving Learning to Obey three and one half paddles, it's worth picking up just for the second story and if you aren't as bothered by bad editing as I am you might enjoy both stories.

Review: The Killer Wore Leather by Laura Antoniou

In this review I'm going to be sharing my thoughts on a book that's a little different than the usual erotica I discuss here, this is a murder mystery: The Killer Wore Leather by Laura Antoniou.

So, even though this book is a departure from the usual erotica I review here, it is a murder mystery set at a BDSM convention; that's gotta count for something, right?  If that's still not kinky enough for you, just go read The Marketplace series (also by Laura Antoniou); the entire series deserves five paddles in my opinion and it's filled with plenty of delicious kink.

The Killer Wore Leather is set at a BDSM convention in a New York hotel. Mack Steel, the current Mr Global Leather, has managed to make a lot of enemies during the year he's held the title and now he will be judging the current contestants. However, on the first night of the convention Mack turns up dead in his hotel room, wearing nothing but a pair of yellow panties.

Detective Rebecca Feldblum is assigned the case, after all she's an out lesbian so these must be 'her people' according to her lieutenant. Not so much in reality, Rebecca and her new partner are more than a little mystified as they delve into this world of Dommes, Masters, subs, and Zodians.

This is a terrific book. The murder mystery is pretty good and well thought out, especially considering this is Antoniou's first foray into the genre, but what is really fantastic is the tongue in cheek glimpse into a kink convention. Antoniou knows kink conventions and contests well; and her wit and humor bring this particular one, and the participants, to life in a way that had me chuckling and laughing out loud throughout.

This is a great read and gets five paddles from me, I highly recommend.

Audiobook review: Goddess by R.J. Castille

This past week I listened to an audiobook, Goddess: A Femme Domme Erotica Novel written by R.J. Castille and narrated by Erin Bateman.

This is the story of Leilla King (AKA Goddess); Leilla is a young woman who works as an assistant to a high powered lawyer, Gordon Roth. Gordon is also an overly demanding and highly critical boss who is a nightmare to work for.  Leilla is a trooper though and even though her boss makes her work life a living hell she has her own time to look forward to when she can take on the mantle of Goddess and escape into her secret world with her pet and friends. Her secret world is shaken to the core one night when Gordon Roth appears in her sanctuary. Leilla always wears a mask in her secret world though and Mr Roth doesn't recognize her, which opens up new possibilities for Leilla as Mr Roth begs to submit to her.

I enjoyed this audiobook very much, it's a strong story with interesting, well developed, characters.  While the erotic scenes were well written they are not the focus of this story, this story is about Leilla King's life, not just the erotic moments of her life. I did find the authors writing style to be a bit too formal (especially the dialogue) and a bit wordy. I thought that the amount of detail and the number of adjectives used were a bit extraneous and sometimes rather tedious. I'm sure that some readers will enjoy this attention to detail but it just kind of caused the story to drag in places for me.

Erin Bateman's narration was quite good, although her Canadian pronunciation of certain words was a bit disconcerting since the book is written in the first person voice of Leilla King who is a Los Angeles girl.

While this book is not exactly my cup of tea, the quality of the story is such that I did indeed enjoy the listen, and I do think it will appeal to many Femdom fans; it is certainly a quality piece of BDSM erotica. I am giving Goddess four out of five paddles.

Review: Crawl Wimp by Teddi Lawless

I just finished the book Crawl Wimp by Teddi Lawless and thought I'd share my thoughts.

So, I have to admit that I had serious doubts about this book based on the title and cover. I thought it was going to be another volume of ridiculous femdom fantasy fluff with the standard over-the-top bitchy shrewish dominatrix and the obnoxiously wormy milquetoast slaves. I am happy to report that my preconceived notions were entirely wrong.

While the action in the stories is fairly standard femdom fair; the stories themselves are actual stories with a plot that was interesting and entertaining and the action, while somewhat standard, was quite well written and was definitely hot and sexy.

I definitely enjoyed this book and recommend it to femdom erotica fans. I'm giving Crawl Wimp five out of five paddles.

Audiobook Review: My Heart Belongs To... by R. Greco

First I feel I must apologize for my long absence here, there have been some demands on my time that had to take priority over this blog and even over my writing. Hopefully I will be able to get back here more often, though I'm not sure I will be able to post weekly in the near future.

I want to share my thoughts on an audiobook I was able to recently finish, My heart Belongs To... by R. Greco, narrated by Jazmin Kensington.

In this story we meet Kay and get a peek into her life as she meets Jon and discovers a new side of herself. Kay discovers that she enjoys submitting to Jon, and that she enjoys being his little girl. Kay also has a dominant side which we get to see as she plays with others. 

I really enjoyed the variety of dynamics, and kinks, that we get to see in this book. There's a bit of something that will appeal to almost anyone with a kinky bent.

This is a well written story that is both interesting and hot. Jazmin Kensington's narration is fabulous, her silky voice adds to the steaminess.

I'm giving My Heart Belongs To... four and one half paddles, I highly recommend.

Audiobook review: Sissy Rachel Earns Her Collar by Sally Bend

I had a chance this week to listen to a wonderful audiobook, Sissy Rachel Earns Her Collar by Sally Bend narrated by Audrey Lusk.

I'm always pleased when I find a BDSM story that takes me outside of the standard cookie cutter plat and arc; this is one of those stories that surprised me and went beyond my expectations. I love the humanity of the characters: I love how Mistress Scarlet is a caring human being, not a cold heartless bitch, and how there is so much more to her than the reader might at first expect. The same can be said for Robert/Rachel as he/she discovers and sets free her true self with Mistress Scarlet's help.

The narration by Audrey Lusk is outstanding, her rich voice adds greatly to the ambiance and to the sexiness of this story. Her voice makes this story a listening experience.

This story is short but it's also very well written; oh, it's also damn hot. I highly recommend for fans of quality femdom, sissy, and BDSM erotica. I'm giving this story five out of five paddles. 

Review: Black And Blue: An Interracial Cuckold Tale by Rob Matthews

I'm always excited when I learn that Rob Matthews is releasing a new book, in my opinion he is absolutely in the top tier of cuckolding fiction authors and I have greatly enjoyed each and every one of his books that I have read. I have to admit though that upon hearing the title of his latest book I felt a bit of trepidation. Mr Matthew's latest release, and the subject of this review is Black And Blue: An Interracial Cuckold Tale.

Interracial cuckolding fiction is generally built upon racist stereotypes and objectification, I am not a fan of such things, thus my trepidation as I began to read this story. Mr Matthews, however, approaches the subject in a way that is different, and much more interesting, than stories I have read previously in this genre. I am not going to get into the details of the story here, I don't want to spoil anything for the reader, but I was quite pleasantly surprised with where the story went, and with how Mr Matthews takes the reader to that destination.

As always, Mr Matthews weaves a terrific story that draws the reader in and keeps them engaged throughout. The character development is outstanding, the description of scenes and action paints a picture for the reader as the story unfolds. This is an erotic tale and the erotic scenes are steamy with fantastic descriptions and details that ramp up the sexiness without being over the top.

I'm giving Black And Blue: An Interracial Cuckold Tale five out of five paddles, I highly recommend this book for cuckolding fiction fans.

Review: Jizziebelle: Bell of the Burlesque by Kat Crimson

This week I'll be sharing my thoughts on Jizziebelle: Bell of the Burlesque (Harwood's Harlots Burlesque Romance Book 1) by Kat Crimson.

Jocelyn Belle has become a bit of a shut-in. Social anxiety and some personal tragedies have caused her to somewhat withdraw from the world. The erotic stories she writes, and the on-line contacts she has made have become her only real social contacts. Jocelyn knows that she must make changes in her life and she does so in one fantastically impulsive move when she auditions for, and gets, a job as a burlesque dancer. Jocelyn meets Ryan at the club and the chemistry between them is immediate, and the story immediately becomes quite steamy.

This is a very well written story with characters and a plot that I enjoyed greatly. Great descriptive writing that brings the scenes and story to life and pacing that keeps the reader happily turning pages.  The action is steamy, there's a bit of light kink involved as Jocelyn and Ryan explore pegging and some light femdom.

I'm giving Jizziebelle five out of five paddles, I enjoyed this book very much and highly recommend it.

Review: The Offer by Melissa Charm

Okay, I've been reviewing Futa stories for the past couple of weeks, so this week I'm going to change it up a bit with a review of The Offer by Melissa Charm.

Samantha and Mark were a happily married couple, though like many young couples they were struggling monetarily when Samantha's employer made her an incredible offer. Samantha is offered a quarter of a million pounds to cuckold Mark. She and Mark struggle with the decision but eventually decide it's an offer they can't refuse, however the consequences may be more than they can handle.

This is a well written story with great character development and it manages to convey the emotions experienced by Samantha and Mark very well considering how short it is. The author does a great job engaging the reader and showing rather than telling Samantha and Mark's story. This is not really a cuckolding story, it's more of a cheating spouse story, but it's very well done with a good plot.

There are plenty of steamy erotic scenes, all of which are very well described.

I'm giving The Offer four out five paddles, I definitely recommend this work and look forward to more by this author.

Review: Cuckolded by the Futa Motorcycle Club by Sally Bend

What a treat it was to read the subject of this week's review, Cuckolded by the Futa Motorcycle Club by Sally Bend!

Sally Bend treats us with a glimpse into the adventures of 'sissy princess,' her wife, and the Futa Motorcycle Club in this fast paced, sweet, sexy, and oh so fun story. Sissy princess has long been aware that she was a sissy, even before she meets Carolyn, the woman who will become her wife; but she wasn't truly aware of Futas until the night her would be wife and Goddess sets a little trap for her. Already enamored with Carolyn, sissy princess quickly becomes enamored with Futas as well and with serving as a sissy cuckold to the entire club.

I loved the pacing of this story, as well as the lighthearted fun and acceptance of sissy princess' antics. The character development, descriptions, and the plot were all fantastic. There's plenty  of hot, sweet, sexiness throughout the story all of which is fantastically described.

I'm giving Cuckolded by the Futa Motorcycle Club five out of five paddles. This mix of futa and sissy erotica is an incredibly fun and sexy read.

Review: Futa Explosion: Four Hot Futa Stories

This was so much fun to read, such terrific stories, here are my thoughts on Futa Explosion: Four Hot Futa Stories by Sally Bend, Lyka Bloom, Solar Harris, and Reed James. By the way, the preceding link goes to Amazon where the book is currently priced at $0.99 but you can find it free on Smashwords.

This is another collaboration (as was Lipstick For Her Leather) of The Three F Network. This time four authors bring us a collection of fun and sizzling Futa stories.

The first story is by Solar Harris in which we meet Nora who has been having less than optimal experiences dating guys recently. Nora's roommate sets her up with a girl who, it turns out, has a surprise or two in store. This is a fun story, I especially liked the scene when two guys try to pick up Nora and her date and are shot down in grand fashion. the erotic scenes that follow are steamy.

Reed James wrote the second story, The Succubus Cafe. Here we meet Nicole who has just been busted by her stepmother for having futa porn. Nicole is roundly chastised by her stepmom before heading off to work, however when she arrives at her place of work it's gone, having been replaced by the Succubus Cafe. Nicole gets a drink from the cafe that will change her (and her stepmom's) life. This is a fun story that's a bit edgy and taboo; it's also sizzling hot.

A Queer Sort of Queen by Sally Bend is the third story in the collection. Here we meet Brandi, the sissy who serves the Futa Queen. The first lady of another country is visiting the Queen and Brandi is called upon to entertain and to provide the first lady with a little something special to take back for her husband. Fun, sweet, and hot I really enjoyed this story.

Finally there is Gimme an F! by Lyka Bloom. Shelby is a somewhat reluctant cheerleader, fairly new to the squad, when something begins happening to her team members after the squad adviser, Miss Fischer returns from a retreat. This was another fun and sexy story that I greatly enjoyed.

This is a terrific collection that I highly recommend, five out of five paddles!
